Q: Is it compatible with Cisco C9500 series switches?
A: Please verify yourself if your equipment features an sfp28 port. Alternatively, provide us with the specific switch model name (e.g., C9500-48Y-4C), and we will look it up for you. If the SWITCH has a fixed sfp28 port, there should be no issue.
Q: Can this 25G transceiver operate at 10G? On your product page, I see it’s connected with OM3/OM4 cables, but I only have OM2 cables. Can OM2 be used directly?
A: Unfortunately, it can only operate at 25Gbps. However, you can use OM2 cables to connect this 25G transceiver, but please note that the transmission distance will be less than 100 meters with OM2 cables.
Q: What type of cable should this module be used with?
A: This 25G CWDM module should be used with LC/UPC duplex single-mode cables.
Q: How many channels does this module support at most?
A: Currently, this module supports up to 6 channels. If you require more channels, you can opt for a DWDM module.
